The 7th Sustainable Development Goal (SDG) is to “ensure access to affordable, reliable, sustainable and modern energy for all”. Hydropower has vital role in achieving this SDG. Developing a hydropower in a remote off-grid location not only helps in achieving the SDG 7 but also assits in other SDGs as well. With hydropower development, the remote location will be connected via road network with the rest of the nation, more job opportunities will be created assisting in SDG 9 and in turn will help the raising the standards of the life. Therefore, this project aims to help in local public and local region in enhancing the livelihood besides the clean energy generation.
